New Year’s Eve Traditions?

Posted on: 12/29/2009

Do you have a New Year’s Eve tradition?

We always have a pizza bar and snacks. This year we are going to add a Make-Your-Own Sundae Bar. We even went to Wal*Mart and bought sundae glasses to use. The kids are extremely excited about trying them out. This is the one night a year that I will let the children stay up as late as they like. They never make it to midnight. 🙂

This Year’s Menu

Toppings will include:

black olives

spinach(both raw & cooked)

grilled tomatoes

sliced mushrooms

carmelized onions

Okay what is a Black Bean Dumpling… Is it like steamed dumplings? And do you have the recipe?
The menu sounds like fun. I might make homemade pasta or if I could convince my husband to go out for Chinese and then come home and watch a movie…

so cute, love it!

I have added the link for the Black Bean Dumplings. I love Chinese food, but cannot have it at the moment. I had a reaction to shrimp over the holidays and have to be careful what I eat at the moment. 😦

Make my eggs Benedict sound boring ;D
